Trends in the production of split systems today

A modern split system is no longer just a device for cooling a room. Manufacturers are paying more and more attention to energy efficiency, comfort, air quality, and the ability to control intelligently.

Inverter technology has become the de facto standard for modern air conditioners. The compressor automatically changes its performance depending on the heat load, thanks to which the system maintains a stable temperature, operates more quietly, and consumes less electricity. Modern models are also actively used not only for cooling, but also for heating rooms.

Another noticeable trend is “smart” control. Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to control the air conditioner from a smartphone, set the temperature and operating modes, set a schedule, and monitor the system remotely.

Attention is also growing to air quality. New models use air purification, filtration, and control systems, as well as functions to prevent mold formation inside the indoor unit.

An important direction remains reducing the impact on the environment. Refrigerants with a lower global warming potential, in particular R-32, are increasingly being used.

It is worth noting the design. Indoor units are becoming more compact, thinner and less noticeable in the interior. A modern air conditioner is increasingly perceived as an element of room design, rather than just a technical device.

Thus, the main trends in modern split systems are energy efficiency, inverter control, heating, Wi-Fi, air purification, more environmentally friendly refrigerants and compact design.
